Getting Started at Centric CrossFit
We know CrossFit has an intimidating reputation, so we’ve created a smooth on-ramp process for new members:
1. Take a Free Intro Class
A free Intro class is the first step in deciding whether Centric CrossFit is right for you. You don’t need to “get in shape” to attend a free intro class, as we’ve scaled them to be friendly and accessible for any fitness level. You can register for a class here, then simply show up. We have showers and changing facilities for your convenience.
2. Sign Up
To get started after your Free Intro, join Centric CrossFit!
Our pricing is fair, simple, and straightforward with no contracts, no initiation fees, and no cancellation fees. Please allow 30 days notice for cancellations.

3. Complete Centric CrossFit Fundamentals
Our fundamentals consist of 6 classes, which teach the basics of CrossFit in a fun, friendly and safe environment. Fundamentals are offered three times a week by appointment only.
You will need to sign up as a member to start our Centric CrossFit Fundamentals classes. (Email us at info@CentricAthletics.com or see us at the Front Desk.)
After you’ve completed fundamentals….
4. Join in a WOD
Once you’ve completed fundamentals, you are ready to participate in any group WOD (“Workout of the Day”) during our regular class times.
You should also plan to register for our weekend Intro to Olympic Weightlifting classes. We offer 2 one hour small group classes, Intro to Snatch and Intro to Clean and Jerk. These are more technical movements and are best learned initially in a small group setting. We recommend that you take these classes as soon as possible after Centric CrossFit Fundamentals is completed.
Note: If you are coming from another CrossFit affiliate, and have completed a comparable level of CrossFit-specific training, you may be able to skip Fundamentals. Please email us to let us know about your background.
If you’re returning to Centric Athletics after time off, we highly recommend you take Centric CrossFit Fundamentals, both as a refresher and an opportunity to ramp back up the intensity. You’ll also get the chance to meet our staff and community before hopping into the WOD.
